PLA filament for 3D printers
The PLA, polylactic acid, is a material of biological origin as it is obtained through polymerization of lactic acid. This is derived from corn starch and sugar cane and is biodegradable in appropriate climatic and environmental conditions.
For printing 3D presents some interesting features such as a melting temperature around 160 degrees, which increases according to any other components added for coloring and greater plasticity. The PLA is becoming increasingly popular as print material for both color and transparency particularly attractive, both for minor problems related to printing. The parties to the PLA, however, are strong enough to create parts of the printer.
